This program is approximately 3 hours and was designed to give students an introduction to fire hazard awareness and to provide an introduction to fire extinguishment with hand held fire extinguishers. Topic covered include fire components, hare hazards, basics of fire planning, fire class identification, fire extinguisher identification, use and more... (the extinguisher course adds the use of a handheld extinguisher to extinguish a small fire using a fire simulator). Students will receive a wallet certificate verifying completion upon successful completion of a written exam. Full participation is mandatory.
